  @SarahL2P‌ I had never heard of Shel Silverstein, but my husband LOVED his stuff as a kid. We bought a book filled with TONS of poems and I've been reading them to LO. I love them! They are so funny!

  Amelia Bedelia and Fancy Nancy are always fun and silly. Love Brown Brown and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. LO has over 100 books already. Can anyone tell I'm a reading teacher? I get her a new one everytime I'm at the store.

  I loved all of the Little Golden Books when I was a kid. My favorite was called The Big Enough Helper and is about a little girl helping her mom do laundry. Random, I know. I can't wait to share those stories with LO.

  +1 for Mercer Mayer

  I love Winnie the Pooh and all things Disney. I also love the classic Eric Carle Books, Dr Seuss and Robert Munsch picture books. 

  
  

  When we get to chapter books also loved reading Boxcar Children, Ramona Quimby, & Wilson Rawls. 

  
  I used to teach Elementary school so I have a great library of Caldecott / Newberry award books that I have been saving for when I had kids of my own. I can't wait to read them with my girsl!

  I loved Amelia Bedelia books too!
  
  I was all excited about reading Miss Nelson is Missing to my then 4 year old DD and she guessed the ending before we got to it. I was so bummed!

  We just bought a boxed set of Roald Dahl books at Costco this weekend.  I'm excited to read them with DS.  I'm also on the Mercer Meyer, Robert Munsch, Dr. Seuss train.
