Could i be misscarrying

when i woke up this morning at 12 when i wiped there was light blood a few minutes later followed by period like pains but very bareable not like my usual period pains and as the day goes on the blood doesnt really get much worse but the stomach pains did. Ive gone to a&e and was tolled im possibly going through a misscarriage. Just so upset and want to hear other peoples experiances.

I had red spotting and kinda heavy cramps at 7 weeks, and everything looked good when I went to the doctor the next morning. The cramps were more than the usual twinges and lasted about 3 days, but baby still seems to be ok at 10 weeks now. FX it's the same for you.

If the bleeding doesn't get worse, that is a good sign. But like PP said, you never really know. Not sure what an a&e is...it sounds like they aren't necessarily experts on the subject, but were just preparing you for the worst - still, that doesn't mean it's a definite thing by any means. I couldn't stay calm until I saw that ultrasound. I know it's an awful feeling!

Yes it definetly is. A&e is accident and emergency, just a hopital. Its nice hearing a story like yours just to have little hope but im also prepared for the worst, thank you.

I am praying for you and your baby. I just got on here bc I just went to the bathroom and had spotting. I'm 7w5d. No cramping but not really having many symptoms of pregnancy anyway. I will call the doctor in the morning. Hopefully we will both have good news tomorrow.

Im 7 weeks 3 days and the spotting is really calmed down but the period like pains are still here obviously not as bad as actual period pains but i do hope we hear good news. Praying for you to x

Anytime you bleed, the proper diagnosis is "threatened miscarriage/abortion". So that might be why they told you that. However, most women who bleed in the first trimester go on to have healthy pregnancies.

I completely understand why they told me, they always need to warn you about the worst case scenario and ive done research and this is whats giving me some hope i hope im one of those women. Thank you

I had bleeding and cramps with DD for almost a whole week. It was so heavy when it started that the toilet was filled. Everything ended up being fine. FX and will be thinking about you!

When I miscarried, it was a lot of blood and severe cramps. I was doubled-over in pain.

But-- every miscarriage is different, and so is every pregnancy. You could be perfectly fine, and I will be sure to keep you in my thoughts that you are.

Hi ladies a quick update. I went to my scan and the midwife couldnt see a pregnancy in the scan. Ive done some blood work and will do another in 48 hours. Im still very confused but hope it will be okay xx

Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility
IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN
IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!!
Beta #s = 445;1,098; 9,545 -- EDD 5/2 -- Team Pink!
