Pain goooo away!

Before i go on i will be going to the doctors.

Since yesterday afternoon i've been having stomach pain, first it started up high so i thought maybe i was needing to use the washroom soon. But then it continued through out the night and it got worse when i tryed to turn over in bed then i woke up this morning and the pain had moved all the way to the bottom of my stomach and i could barely walk because i had unbeilveable pressure down there.

Has anyone expierenced this? Just wondering so maybe i might be expierencing the same thing. I am not asking for medical advice as i am going to the doctors.

Whether or not anyone has experienced this pain, it's probably not the same thing. Get to your OB and I hope everything is ok.

  • I had similar pains Monday.. it was worse in the pelvic region, so bad to the point I couldnt even stand. The pain brought me to tears. I called my OB and they sent me straight to L&D (which made me cry even more cause once I heard that I was terrified)... so basically they immediately ruled out UTI.. hooked me up to a non stress test for a few hours, checked for dilation, swabbed me to test for fetal fibronectin (which would indicate preterm labor) and did 2 ultrasounds to check on baby, placenta and fluid.. everything was NORMAL! OB literally told me "Welcome to Pregnancy" . The only thing I left with was knowing babys head is SUPER low. Doc felt his head with his fingers. That was the only explanation for the pain. BUT the OB still felt it necessary for me to be seen ASAP to do everything to make sure nothing was wrong. Sucked being in so much pain but relieved to know there were no signs of PTL and baby was perfectly fine!

Good luck to you! Call OB asap and give good detail of your symptoms!

Yes but to be reassured by someone who says oh yes I had that then I pooped and felt 10 times better could ease your mind enough to not treat it seriously when in your specific case it could be something completely different. I wasn't trying to be rude but during the third trimester, any pains in the abdominal region are definitely cause for concern. What could be your indigestion pain could be my PTL. Reassurance from an internet stranger is terrifying, nobody here is the same as you or your body and when it comes to abdominal pain the only reassurance you should be seeking is from a medical professional who is treating you.

ETA cuz this cold is taking over my brain

  • Hope all turns out well. Keep us posted!
  • Good luck at the doc! A friend of mine was in agony from the was her DS was positioned for three days. Then he moved and she felt better. She did spend some time being monitored in the hosp, so I hope your case is something simple!

  • @kourtnielynn‌ - I think I'm dealing with something similar. Pain high up constantly. Not really moving down. Might be related to constipation for me. I'm hydrating, resting and hoping it will pass. Hope you're well. Please let us know after you've seen your physician.

  • Good luck at the doctor!  I experienced something similar last week and my doc had me go to L&D.  It turned out to be my gallbladder which will be taken out after baby's arrival.  The pain started up high (upper right quadrant), was acute, and then radiated all over my abdomen and back.  It lasted for several hours.  This type of pain is no joke and definitely something you should get checked out and confirmed at the doctor's.  Hope you feel better.

So the ladies wishing you good luck and feel better were rude and out of place?

If that is the case we can go back to snark.
