I know the company says it's okay for cloth but what do those of you who have used it say? Coconut oil isn't cutting it.

Re: Waxelene?

  • No one here seems to have anything bad to say about it.

  • Awesome. I tried it today and love the way it feels and smells. Does it seem to wash out well?
  • Yep! Beeswax has a low melting point, so it comes out in a hot wash.

  • Yes, it washes out just fine.

  • DD get acidic poo rash and just plain coconut oil didn't do much. Have waxalene but rarely use it, no reason, just don't. I recently mixed some California baby candulla cream and tea tree oil in with my coconut oil and it's magic! Takes care of the rash with in one or two changes.

  • We used waxelene as a cd safe alternative to Vaseline for DS's circ. it was fine and washed out no problem.

  • Love Waxelene. Just make sure to use only a thin layer. Someone's daycare workers were caking it on, and that turned out to be hard to get off.
  • Good to know. Thank you ladies so much. I am really enjoying my cloth diaper experience so far and don't want to let a little rash persuade my husband it's not working out. I used it with my least favorite diapers so I wouldn't be heart broken if it didn't come out. Lol..
