My girlfriends and I planned a fun trip to the beach this weekend. Everyone is excited and messaging each other constantly...I'm thinking of canceling and we're supposed to take my car. I'm just so anxious about leaving my baby :0(
There are 2 guys at work, that have the same job, came from the same competitor, are slightly doughy brunette middle aged guys, and work on all the same accounts. I can not tell them apart. One will bring me something to work on and as soon as he leaves I have to look at the company directory to figure out who is who. In my defense everyone refers to them as "the Twins"
Sometimes I let Milo wear the same socks 2 days in a row.
Is this not supposed to be done? Her socks never get dirty because she doesn't actually use her feet. So I resuse them all the time! (Unless she sticks her sock in her dirty diaper, of course, which she seems to like to do.)

I'm at the point that a certain amount of spit up still qualifies a shirt as clean...went to a job interview yesterday with spit up down my leg. Left and realized there was spit up down my back too....face palm.
Oh and I just went to the bathroom and realized in my haste to get myself and the baby dressed, fed and out the door at 5:00 a.m this morning I put my underwear on inside out. I didn't fix it....
Even though I am ok waiting for baby #2 for a year or so, I hope I get pregnant right away. It will be much easier to justify staying home with 2 LO's and will help speed up our timeline to get there. I am also in denial that I have to go back to work even though Maddie's daycare called this morning to check in on her start date and ppwk :-(
If we go for #3, I kind of hope it's another boy. I always wanted a girl more for having an adult mother/daughter relationship but now after 2 boys I can't imagine raising a girl. I was a pretty darn good child growing up but even now I think about some of the attitude I had and wonder how my mother could stand me. My sister was worse. I wouldn't be surprised if my brother was secretly her favorite growing up. His worse offense was his booger wall.
She was up most of the night (as was I) spent about half of this morning refusing to be put down, I had a million cupcakes to make for the church (they still need frosting by first thing tomorrow) that I don't even go to, other MiniMe came home sick (which cost me an hour), I didn't get breakfast til almost 1, I've got 2,000 phrases to transcribe by midnight, I have an application for a new job to go do tonight that's a half-hour drive away, I can't remember the last time I had a shower but I know I need one because I'm starting to smell funny and I'm BFing so can't have any more coffee. I am not waking her on purpose today unless the house catches fire.

I've done that more times than I can count. And one time while I was pregnant I put my capri pants on backwards. But to be fair, the back of them looked almost identical to the front, they just felt funny when I wore them!
FFFC - LO only gets baths 3 times a week because there's just not time for it otherwise. 2 of the baths happen because I cajole SO to do them while I'm pumping/cleaning pump stuff/doing dishes or whatever. Not like he can pump, amirite?
Baby peed all over himself Sunday before church. We just wiped him down with baby wipes, changed his clothes and went to church.
He was getting a bath that night anyway.
You think the rest of us are giving our kids full baths when they pee on themselves?
You realize that they're peeing in diapers all day long and technically, we're only using wipes (sometimes not) to clean them up, and not full baths....right?

Quote fail... Is this flameful? DS gets 1-2 baths a week. He isn't dirty, I wash his hands and face, and his skin gets irritated (he has eczema already, poor kiddo).
Dd is one of those baby's that could pass for a boy or a girl. Whenever I dress her in stuff that doesnt scream girl, people will call her a boy and I dont correct them.
Also the other day I was talking with a cashier who told me she still BFs her 18 month old and purely does it for her own emotional attachment. I totally silently flamed her for doing it for her own fulfillment. I plan on doing it for a year FOR THE BENEFIT OF MY CHILD.
#1. I'm 35 and i have never consistently washed my face or had a consistent skin care routine. I have always had good skin...I know this will catch up with me at some point soon.
#2. I eat beets quite often, and when I (inevitably) pee red, it always startles me. I think I'm bleeding Every. Single. Time.
I've never washed my face either! Shower water should suffice.

I speak to my LO in an annoying English accent and she finds it hilarious. The downside when I speak normally to her she scowls at me, so it's back to the accent !
@AnotherDreamer umm.... Your girls are SO effing cute I would totally annoy you if I ever saw them. I would be that girl running after you with my arms in the air saying " oh my gawwwwwd look at the baabiesss"

TOP O THE MONIN TO YOU ELL-AY
Ordinarily, I'd let this slide BUT as it's FFFC...
That's an Irish phrase. I'm English and I'm irrationally annoyed by the (not even spoken) sentence.
I let the bassinet sheet get spit up on a couple times before I wash it. I also flip the mattress from head to foot end to get extra use before washing.
People wash it every time???.....pshhhh bitches be crazy

I spend a lot of time correcting local Americans that I'm not Australian, I'm English and then that I'm not from anywhere even close to London so it's a touchy subject.
Totally me that has issues and not anyone else's problem though. I'm just easily irritated.

Really? That annoys you?
... Sorry
I think it sounds cute, whether it's English or Irish or Pig Latin or whatever.

For I have no idea if this is a FFFC but I definitely have favourites as far as nieces and nephews go and I kind of suck at hiding it...also, I also think my niece will just annoy the crap out of me for no reason and she's only 9 months old
Wrong. This is wrong. I am judGing you out right. No side eye.
I hope my husband's ice skate finishes breaking tonight so he won't play as often. (It's already cracked) I'm tired of him playing Friday nights and Sunday mornings. It messes up his sleep for the weekend and it is the only time I make him help with middle of the night activities.
I also haven't been changing LOs diapers in the middle of the night because they are just wet. You better believe I'll be waking DH up for changes just because I'm irritated.
@cko521 I feel the same way. I only DTD because I feel sorry for DH but only on weekends when there's actual time and LO is sleeping. There's too much else that needs to get done, not including DH!
I feel validated that you guys also don't bathe your babies a lot. I'd read in books about making a bath part of the bedtime ritual and I was like, ain't nobody got time for that every night.

DD is 18 months old and she only gets baths 3times a week unless she had a blow out (she pooped so much last week it ran down her legs). On days like that of course she gets a bath. If it would take more than 3 wipes to clean it, they go in the tub.
Umm... It's been more than a week since LO had a proper bath. We were doing one a week, but I went back to work this week and just didn't have it in me. LO despises bath time. She hates water and hates being nekkid. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe.

We do baby wipe her down and lotion her up regularly.
