I'm due in a couple days and we are still stuck on a name

i am having a little girl and am scheduled for an induction on the 8th if the baby doesn't come on her own before then. (Dr thinks she has a good chance of making an appearance before then) we still haven't decided on a name and i am starting to stress out over it. (i have a hard enough time deciding on a name when we get a new puppy or something lol so picking a baby name is a big deal)

her middle name is going to be Christine after someone that had a big part in helping to raise me when i was a baby so at least that part is figured out.

we were debating between a few different first names earlier on but the ones that have stuck to the end are Samantha or Aubrey and our last name is Palmer

so the options are
Samantha Christine Palmer or
Aubrey Christine Palmer

i really like both names. i know that my husband and i are bound to end up using nicknames fairly often when she is growing up. if we go with Samantha I'm sure her nickname will be Sam or Sammie. if we go with Aubrey her nickname will be Bree.

i kinda like Samantha a little more than Aubrey but i kinda like Bree a little more than Sam or Sammie.

what are your thoughts on both names?

Samantha times a million. Such a classic, feminine name.

Aubrey is actually a boys name that crossed over. Like Ashley. It also feels so trendy to me and I don't think Bree is the most obvious nickname for it. She will get called Aubs a lot more, as that's the common choice.

Sam/Sammy is adorable. Samantha Christine works so perfectly. Go with it and stop second guessing and making this harder on yourself!

If you just love Bree there are way better options than Aubrey. Brianna is the most obvious choice for me. I have also met a little girl just named Brie and it worked for her.
