Worried about blood test results

in 2nd Trimester
My Dr called yesterday and let me know my last blood test came back high for spinal defects. She referred me to a place that will do a level 2 ultrasound this week. In the meantime,  I'm just wondering what others have experienced when getting these results. I've been reading a lot online, but that is a little scary

    Im sending T&P your way.  I hope you get nothing but good news.  Reconsider all the reading online.  No one else's experience will change yours.  You'll just add more stress and worry doing it.

    Thank you for the good thoughts! My Dr couldn't really tell me more than we need to do more tests and that's why I turned to the internet. But you are right, it's just stressing me out! I will try to think positive until Wednesday and hopefully get some answers!

    Stay away from Dr. google! Do yourself a solid & wait for more concrete answers from your doc etc.

    I'm sending prayers your way,like the PP's said stay off the internet. Hoping the outcome of the ultra sound is a positive one and the blood tests were wrong.
