Reflux mamas check in

How are your kiddos doing?

we upped the meds right before his 9 month well check and it seems like it helped a lot. he hardly spits up now and now Im wondering if we should start reducing meds. he is on 2.5ml 2x a day.

@cammyisagirlsname I know your baby was still spitting up a lot, any better?

    We finally took DS off Prevacid just before his 9 mo appointment and he is doing great. The doctor had essentially told us "just see what happens when you forget doses" and we started forgetting more and more. I had thought reflux might be responsible for his terrible sleep (waking every 1.5 hours) but with just a little bit of sleep training he is now sleeping soundly for most of the night so it doesn't seem that was the problem. I am so relieved.

    We have finally stopped taking the Zantac about a week ago and G has been doing great.  I am still keeping my fingers crossed though.

    Actually in the past month or so I've completely stopped breastfeeding and I give him no more than 4oz in a bottle at a time plus 3 meals a day. His spitting up has been almost non existent. It's amazing! He still is on his Zantac 2.5ml 2x a day though.
