Does anyone else feel like they gained to much weight? My doctor hasn't mentioned it so I am not overly concerned but I have gained 40lbs already and I have 2 months to go. I try eating small portions throughout the day, cutting out junk, and drinking water only. I am physically active as well due to having a 3 year old and a full schedule. With my first, I gained weight like this but I felt I was doing better this time around and am just really disappointed, as it took me over 2 years to lose the weight the first time.
Anyone else feeling this way, or think the weight gain suggestions aren't legitimate?
Re: Too much weight gain?
Also, I was able to breastfeed my first and responded really well to that weight-wise. I was below my pre-pregnancy weight by the time he was six months old without doing any dieting or exercise beyond walking.
Definitely bring it up, but my guess is that as long as your pregnancy is otherwise healthy, it won't be an issue!
I gained 40lb with my first and by the time she was 9m I was to pre-p shape without any working out, just walking with her.
Similar now though I'n already over 40lb + and have some time to go. But at least in my case - I started a little underweight, so even at 40lb+ my BMI is still in the Normal range, not even overweight, and I still have some Lbs to spare to reach that level... So you can't take those guidelines as absolutes... I do feel like a walking waddling Michelin man but I know I can't really help it much.
