    1.  How far along are you now? 27 weeks

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Nothing new, next appointment isn't until next week.

    3.  How are your symptoms? back pain, tired, starting to feel the nesting urge, but I think that's primarily because I don't know yet if I will need a c-section at 35 weeks or not. I will hopefully find out next week.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing? None, save the desire to drive me batty.

Good Luck @Missmissie82 hope everything is going well so far!

  • 1.  How far along are you now? 29 weeks tomorrow

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Nothing this week; still waiting on results from GTT (from almost 2 weeks ago)

    3.  How are your symptoms? Holding steady. Still pretty sore, and had a few BH over the weekend, but nothing crazy.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing? SO has been having intense cravings for chicken wings. It's been pretty funny since my cravings don't seem to be as intense.

    1. How far along are you now? 31 weeks tomorrow

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?

No appointments until next week.  This is the first week in a month I have not had to pee in a cup.  My last test was little to no protein! Yay!

    3. How are your symptoms?

I'm pretty good.  Tired, but good.  My thighs and calves are retaining water.  They are like memory foam.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing?

He's been eating a lot of salty foods.

    1.  How far along are you now?  29 weeks 1 day

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?  Had my follow up fetal echo and first growth u/s last week.  Fetal echo was perfect.  Yay!  I haven't heard anything from my doctor's office on the growth u/s yet.  I have an appt with my OB on Thursday so hopefully she'll give me the deets then.  The tech did say that everything was measuring "right on"  for whatever that's worth.

    3.  How are your symptoms?  Holding steady.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing?  Well, I would like to eat all the carbs, but I can't so I try to ignore it.  I have been craving apples like nobody's business.  I'm eating 1-2 a day and could eat more if my blood sugar would allow it.  OOOPS!  Reading fail!  My DH doesn't seem to be experiencing any but then again he's working so much we rarely see him.  If he was around more, he might be more affected.

    Grow baby @missmissie82!

  • First of all @missmissie82 I hope you're keeping yourself busy in your room. I loved reading your blog, grow LO grow!!

    1. How far along are you now? 31 weeks today.

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Yikes. Last week was a mess. I had an ultrasound on Thursday that did not locate any cysts on my ovaries so my pain is still a mystery but still exists. I have another appointment this Thursday so hopefully I can get some answers. LO is growing right on track, last week showed an 11/30 EDD but that changes all the time.

    3. How are your symptoms? I haven't felt any more contractions since I dilated so hopefully that's a good thing. The pain in what feels like my ovaries is still definitely there but I'm starting to figure out what makes it worse and better so it's a little bit easier to manage.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing? My DH has been coming home with a lot of sweets lately and he is NOT a sweets person at all! He keeps blaming the baby but I think he's just finally discovered the wonderful world that is dessert.

Random question: since I was late to the game do I have a labor buddy? I feel really bad if I've been igoring them.

  • Hi! New to group. High risk d/t AMA and complete placenta previa

    1. How far along are you now? 27 weeks!

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?
Last OB appt was 9/25 for glucose. Waiting to hear results. No new updates. Going to check location of placenta at 32 weeks unless I have bleeds before then.

    3. How are your symptoms? I'm hanging in there. Pretty high anxiety as I feel like a ticking time bomb. Just so thankful to be at 27 weeks!

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing? DH hasn't been sleeping well and says he is getting ready for nighttime feedings! :)

  • 1.  How far along are you now?

    28 weeks! I think? I lose count.

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?

I had a regular OB appointment last week, I am anemic and vitamin D is still low. We talked a bit about my medication contradicting breastfeeding then I met with my rheumatologist who was a solid NO, but I am going to keep looking for more info.

    3.  How are your symptoms?

So tired. I can barely stay awaazzzzzzzzz

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing?

He's kind of bitchy, does it count?

  • Ugg, BP is high today - 131/96 which is really high for me. (I'm usually 90/60)   He's tracking well right now though, listening to his big old heart beat loud and clear.  :)   Ultrasound this morning sometime now.   My belly has been tight today and I've got some chest pain too that came on kind of suddenly.  Fingers crossed it passes quickly and is nothing.

  • Newly high risk due to HBP and potential high protein in my urine (labs may have been faulty). But will be high-risk regardless because of BP.

    1. How far along are you now? 29 + 1

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Long story... Admitted to the hospital because of off the chart protein in urine after a 24 hr urine analysis. That being said the labs may have been faulty, so I'm at least admitted overnight, with BP testing, another 24 urine analysis, ultrasound and non stress test tomorrow. I feel fine and so far baby is good too. Strange day...

    3. How are your symptoms? No real symptoms besides the HBP

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing?

DH is craving sweets, but he's so aware of what he's eating he rarely really indulges :)

  • I am 27 weeks and I have 2girls already and this pregnancy is high risk due to hbp
  • Hi ladies! Keeping all those with possible early deliveries in my prayers!

    1. How far along are you now?
27 weeks... RCS for 37 weeks, that only 10 weeks left! Eeek! I was telling H how it's seems like yesterday that we were only 10 weeks pregnant!

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?
    Nothing this week.

    3. How are your symptoms?
No headache today, but they come and go. BP was a bit higher than normal over the weekend but not too bad. Just tired and achey. Baby girl seems to be fine with all the moving she's doing.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing?
    He's a snacker, a salty snacker, which I cannot partake in. :(
  • 29 weeks 6 days, supra ventricular tachycardia and low pre-pregnancy Weight. I recently had an ultrasound and baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead. Heart rate today stayed around 130 despite my medication so symptoms for today was shortness of breath. DH is happily symptom free
  • 1. How far along are you now?28w6d

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?nothing this week. Appointments every two weeks now.

    3. How are your symptoms? I feel good most of the time. My calves are sore and I can't get up or down as well, but nothing miserable. I ate like crap last week, so I was swelling a lot. I've got to eat better.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing? Nothing this pregnancy. We both gained a lot with the my last from all our late night snacking.
  • New to the group 3rd baby short/incompetent cervix, modified bed rest.

    1. How far along? 27 weeks 2days
    2. Updates? At last dr app cervix was measuring 1 cm. received steroid shots. Go back to the dr. this Thursday
    3. Symptoms? I'm having a lot more pressure and started losing my mucus plug on Sunday. Ready for my dr appointment to figure out what's going on!
    4. I'm not sure he's craving that much but of course he has put on a little weight with me. Haha

I am glad you are seeing your doctor tomorrow. Losing your MP could be a symptom of your cervix dilating. Let's hope it grows back. Sending prayers all is well.

    Praying for everyone.
  • 1.  How far along are you now? 29 weeks

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? I failed my 1-hr glucose test. :( Blambing genetics on that one. Lots of Type 2 in the family. Whether I pass or fail the 3-hr, I do need to start eating less carbs (aka ice cream)

    3.  How are your symptoms? Not much to complain about! Still go to bed early every night, but Charlie horses have gone away and I only need to get up once at night.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing? He has started nesting! Cleaning, and wanting to paint the nursery! I haven’t quite gotten there yet since it looks like baby will be in the NICU for an indeterminate amount of time.

  • 1. 29 weeks 1 day
    2. Failed my 3 hour glucose test so will have to meet with nutritionist next week, start diet and checking sugars. Otherwise everything is stable. Still 1.5 cm dilated with no cervix left. Only BH contractions.
    3. Pelvic pain, heartburn, insomnia
    4. I think with me being on bedrest DH is a bit more stressed and prone to mood swings. Although he would never admit it lol.
  • 1. 30 weeks 5 days.
    2. Ultrasound yesterday. 3.6lbs baby so far. Cervix shortened. Had first of two steroid shots to help mature her lungs.
    3. Still on modified bed rest, sore, and snapping joints when going to stand.
    4. DH is stressed. Says he is going bald. No cravings for him <3

    1.  How far along are you now?

    30w3d

    2.  Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc?

I had a regular OB appointment with my new/sub OB on Wednesday, and while she's a bit more conservative than my regular OB, she's really nice and I think we'll be in good hands. She did say that I had +1 protein in my urine, which of course I had to Dr. Google. I had my MFM appointment yesterday, drank a ton of water to make sure I wasn't dehydrated before the urine test, and I was negative for any protein 24 hours later. We're chalking it up to dehydration, but keeping an eye on my BP just in case.

    3.  How are your symptoms?

Good. Numbers are great since starting the glyburide, Baby Q is measuring in the 59th percentile, and my BP and weight are both really good. So far, no problems.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing?

DH has been having vivid dreams/nightmares for the past few days. And, he's put on several pounds the past few weeks, mainly from eating crap at night.

  • 1. How far along are you now? 27 weeks, 4 days!

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? My 1-hour glucose tolerance test came back normal, so it feels good to have my last blood test out of the way.  I have my 28 week ultrasound on Monday and I can't wait.  I'm hoping to hear that my low-lying placenta is no longer low-lying...FX!

    3. How are your symptoms? Feeling awesome :-) Biggest symptom is a super strong urge to clean and nest.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing? DH loves to eat pickles and cheese and has since a week before we found out we were pregnant...yuck!

  • Hi Ladies,
I joined te board way back when but have been MIA since May. Life got pretty busy but has slowed way down the past few weeks. I'd like to be part of the group again, if you'll have me! So I'll do a quick intro before jumping in.

I have a one year old DS and am due 12/11 with a girl. About 3 weeks ago my MW had me go to the hospital because of constant BH and cramping. I was monitored, given a shot of turb and fluids (despite not being dehydrated) and sent home. My cervix was long an hard but dilated at 1cm. I was told no more work and "take it easy." A few days later I was having major cramping and contractions. MW came to check me, and I was 50% effaced and 2cm dilated. We went to the hospital. Another shot, procardia, and steroids for baby's lungs. Things finally calmed down and I was sent home after about 12 hours. That time I was put on modified bed rest. 2 weeks later and things are looking better, thankfully!

    1. How far along are you now? 30w1d

    2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? I had my weekly appointment today and a growth scan. Things looked really good and from the US it looked like my cervix has mostly closed back up! I was released to "light activity" as long as stop as soon as I start getting BH. And baby is measuring right on target.

    3. How are your symptoms? Still crampy and having lots of BH but only a few painful contractions. My back and hips are just killing me from all this laying around. Oh and I have an insane amount of pressure in my pubic region. Doctor said he wasn't surprised by how far down the baby's head is already.

    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing?
Like me, DH had been craving sweets. Probably because I keep eating them in front of him ;)
  • Hi! I'm new to the group. This is my first baby and I am high risk because of 35+, autoimmune disease, cholestasis of pregnancy and mild contractions.

    1. How far along are you?
    - 29 weeks
    2. Any updates, ultrasounds dr appt, lab work?
-I am going to see the MFM dr this coming week and will (hopefully) learn more about what the plan is from now on.
    3. Any symptoms?
    - I am on meds for both the contractions and the cholestasis. I am still contracting but the meds have slowed them down and they don't seem to be leading anywhere. The cholestasis makes me very itchy but it would be much worse without the meds!
    4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing?
    -none that I know of...

    1. How far along are you now? 29 weeks 2. Any updates - doctors appointments, ultrasounds, labwork, etc? Uterine anomaly put me in high risk category. All was good until 26 weeks when cervix started to shorten. On progesterone pessary daily, got betamethasone shots, cervix shortening has slowed but at this point nothing else to be done except hope my body holds LO in there til at least 33 but more preferable 37. Pretty sure mucus plug came out at least partially. Ob and mfm know. 3. How are your symptoms? Ok, Braxton hicks but had that since early 2nd tri, no actual labor contractions. L&d say uterus is quiet. Baby is happily kicking around sitting high but breech and amniotic sac looks good and intact. Fingers crossed. 4. GTKY: What pregnancy symptoms/cravings have your DHs/SOs been experiencing? My husband hasnt been getting any of the sympathy weight or symptoms. He's happily dreaming away while I have been sitting wide awake for 3 hrs.
