@lappyfoinker I'm actually doing/feeling good. Only taken 1 dose of pain meds all day. A bit sleepy, but other than that I feel pretty good. This wasn't scary at all for me. My emergency gall bladder removal was way more traumatic. This time I was very mentally prepared. Worst part? Getting my IV. F'ing hate those things!
I hit my out of pocket max which is why I got it done and not DH. I had many ask me why I didn't make him get the vasectomy my response" he lives with 5 women, (my mother included) he gets a kick in the pants pretty much daily. The mans a saint."
I get an excuse to lounge around all this rainy weekend.
@lappyfoinker it's outpatient surgery. I checked in at 0700, got admitted, IV, and was in surgery by 0900. I was discharged at 1230 ish? I was just really loopy from anesthesia. I have to pump n dump for 12 hours, and they gave Percocet and ibuprofen for pain (just like after birth) I've been up and walking around, and I'm able to hold V (they said don't pivk up anything heavier than her.
I looked into Essure, but I have a serious concerns with the idea of copper in my body for the rest of my life. The local news did a report on the awful side effects. rubberband vs metal wins in my book.
Re: It's Tubal Day!!!
My peace of mind was well worth it.
