Entertaining misuse of words

Ok things are slow, and I found this amusing and wanted to share.

DD loves the bath, and will stay in until she gets all pruny. The other night she looked down at her wrinkly feet and said, "Broke!" I asked if she meant that her foot was broken and she told me yes. Apparently the wrinkles look like cracks to her. ;-)

Are there any words your toddler misuses like this?

  • E days yeah to everything. When he hands his cup over for a refill and we ask him to say, "more juice please," he responds with "yeah," and this look on his face like why else would I give you my cup, dummy!

  • Logan picks stuff up, and as he is throwing them, says "uh oh."
  • DD's word for a swing is "wee-wee." She calls it this because we would always say "Wheeee!" when we pushed her. We get some very strange looks when she says it until we explain. It's kind of embarrassing and cute at the same time.
