A warm welcome and congratulations to everyone that has made it to this check-in! If there are any newcomers, please come on in and join us. Note your due date, how many beans, and a little background on your IF journey to get here.
Wishing you all the best! Good luck to all the ladies moving on to the 2nd trimester in the coming week! Feel free to post your updates here up until the 14th week.

@Lillovebug79 ~ 3-30/15 ~ 1 bean -- congrats on moving to 2nd tri!
I would like me some Paul Newman circa "Cat on a hot tin roof". I mean those eyes and a heart of gold? Yes Please!!
and then I would also like to add some Tim Riggins (not the actor who plays Tim Riggins, but Tim Riggins), because we need to balance out the good with some bad, and Texas Forever!
I thought nausea was gone, but she has returned with a vengeance. Yesterday I needed to pull over the car to dry heave in a bush (so charming!). I also feel guilty because I don't feel like eating anything, and I'm worried bean will get malnourished in there! I've been making smoothies to compensate for the lack of vitamins in my life. On the bright side: I think I'm getting my pregnancy glow! Which is nice because I've been not feeling too good about myself since stimming. Yay!

Not much to update here. U/S with the OB is next week, so hopefully things will be uneventful this week. I've been dealing with a cold all weekend and tired every remedy known to man. So if any of you get sick, I can fill you in on everything I tried.
On an amusing note, I felt a bit better today and managed to drag myself to work, although I'm still in my pjs...and I've gotten 3 compliments on my "outfit" (leggings, plain white t-shirt, a hat, no makeup). WTF?! Only in advertising...
I love Ryan Reynolds and my girl crush is Rachel McAdams. I'm still sad she didn't work out with Ryan Gosling.

I had a good appointment with the OB last week, and made a whole slew of appointments with the perinatologist for the 1st Tri screening, ultrasound and what-not.
This morning, I've had some very subtle spotting - just very small amounts on tp at my house this morning, and again when I got to work. I figured I would call my OB to mention it, and they'd just say, don't worry about it, but they told me to come in. So, although that freaked me out at first, and I had to retreat to the courtyard to for a private cry - I think in the end I'll be happier having gone, so I can get some answers, and hopefully just peace of mind today.
QOTW: I'm with @IFinTN - I have a crush on Legolas, but not necessarily Orlando Bloom. I also think I might be over Channing Tatum. But my big all time celebrity crush that will never go away is Gene Kelly - he can sing, he can dance, he's handsome as anything. Seriously, does it get any better than this?
3rd beta is tomorrow and hopefully it's the last one (and a good number too). other than that my first u/s isn't until 10/13 but when my RE left a message the other day she indicated that they wanted me to schedule it sooner. I'll see what they say after tomorrow. Symptom-wise it's an on and off thing with little cramps and fatigue. except my boobs always hurt. I just had a random wave of nausea as I was getting ready to clean so I decided to go on here until I feel better
I've always liked Ryan Gosling. oh and Jason Momoa.

I'm actually at the RE's office as we speak. I'm requesting another beta test because I'm a paranoid mess. My queasiness has made a slight come back but not as strong as before. And my progesterone level came in at 11.4. But I've been on the suppositories so I am hoping for the best at this point. Just trying to put my worries at ease and hopefully another good beta will do that. I have my 1st ultrasound on 10/9 so I'm looking forward to that.

Just wanted to add a note here about my progesterone levels, since so many of us have struggled. After being reduced to 0.5 ml of the PIO for a week by the RE, my levels were only at 29 by nine weeks. They told me to discontinue, but I didn't, in part based on conversations here. The OB said I could keep taking through the whole first trimester, but suggested we retest. About a week ago, just shy of eleven weeks, they came back at 58.6. Just got the results today. She recommended that I do one more week of every other day shots then stop. I'm very glad I kept going, but excited that I definitely am making my own progesterone now. Go placenta, go!!!

Today I am officially 5 weeks pregnant. I know you all know how good that feels! We got our BFP 2 weeks ago after 5 years of ttc baby #2. I had emergency surgery almost 6 years ago that caused me to be unable to concieve naturally.
At first, doctors didn't believe me, but I knew something wasn't right after surgery. Here we are - 9 rounds on clomid, 1 etopic pregnancy, 1 HSG, 1 laproscopy surgery, 4 rounds on a similar but different drug, 3 failed IUI's and we finally moved to IVF. At our ER we got 48 eggs - 32 of which were mature... of that, 16 made it to day 5 or 6 and were all frozen (due to high risk of OHSS). We transferred two of those beautiful babies 3 weeks ago and here we are... PREGNANT!
9dp5dt my first beta was 292 11dp5dt my 2nd beta was 630!
My EDD is June 4th and our first ultrasound is October 16th. I don't know how many yet, but can't wait to find out! Fingers crossed for a safe and healthy pregnancy!

Hi all. I feel maybe a little more settled, enough to post. I am officially 6weeks3days today. We did IVF due to hubby having CF. We have one bean and saw a HB yesterday. I was worried because the RE did not measure the heart rate at all, just said it looks like it is there and we could see it but that was all we got. I was beyond disappointed. She said it was too early and still too small but I am ok and where I should be. But we go in next week and hopefully we see more and get a rate this time. She did say congratulations which is what I am holding on to that all is really ok. She also told me I have a cyst in my left ovary, which freaked me out because I have never had that, to my knowledge, and it hurts. I told her to check the ovary bc it hurts... She did not seem cocerned at all and said it is normal for IVF? No clue. Anyone know about that?
I have been super tired and nauseous and my boobs are getting bigger and hurt ... All good things :-) lol
@yvonne0001 FWIW, my RE doesn't exactly measure HB either. He just eyed it and said it was around 130, then "nicely above 130" the second visit - whatever that means. I was annoyed at first, but then a little grateful that I didn't have to obsess over a number. They see so many u/s, they should know if the flicker looks slow enough to be concerning.

@gsancho thanks! That is reassuring. She said "I see it there" and it seemed fast and steady to me, but what do I know lol, and she didn't even run more blood work bc she was not worried at all and my numbers were great last time; but I was unsettled by it, especially as a first timer. I hope next time we get a better image of it just to settle my IF brain. :-) thanks again.

I'm 5w1d today. We got to see the sac right where it's supposed to be yesterday, so we've ruled out another ectopic. Such a relief! I really was hoping to see the yolk too but I know it's early. I go back on Friday. My only symptom right now is exhaustion. Just so tired all day long. And my lovenox belly is really driving me nuts. It's all bruised and painful, it's only been a week of injections!
@AMShark hoping your spotting clears up!
QOTW: @kmc84 Beat me to him, Ryan gosling in crazy stupid love. I just drool.

Fingers crossed for a safe and healthy pregnancy!

holding on to that all is really ok.
Hope everyone is well. :-)
