( has anyone gotten past the nausea yet? 8w1d and it's driving me nuts. I'm completely useless pretty much all day. I had heard about morning sickness, but never imagined this was the reality of it.
Is anyone else getting super tired and frustrated with it?
Re: Does the nausea ever end???
Not yet, but I’m okay with that. It just reassures me the baby is growing. I had m/s when I was pg with my DD until 23 weeks, so I am not expecting this to end any time soon.
My suggestions:
- Ginger snap cookies
- Preggie Drops
- Ginger tea

Also, I found Preggie Pops to be no different than other sour candy, like Jolly Ranchers, just way more expensive. So that's what I've been sucking on now. That and tea with dried pineapple steeped in it. I'll have to make some ginger tea next.

I don't know what to do about the nausea. And more if I am working.
My body won't retain anything.
Ps unisom is a sleep aid, I was so confused when my dr said to do the combo then all I was finding were sleep aids.lol
Eta. Tagged wrong person.. Whoops
Anyone else eating/drinking way less than usual? I've been getting lightheaded spells this past week.
From physician:
Pyridoxine (vitamin b6) 25 mg tablets - take 1 tablet every 6 to 8 hours.
Doxylamine (Unisom sleep tablets, but I got the generic) - take 1/2 tablet at bedtime; can increase to twice daily if needed; it will cause drowsiness.
I'm drowsy, but I can fight the drowsiness to finally do some work and eat something healthy/substantial!
Good luck to OP and anyone else dealing with nausea!
