Recovery Question

Hi, I have not posted in here before. I posted a few times back when I was pregnant in J14 but my baby ended up being born in Feb. Anyway, I am planning on a seeing a doc for this but thought I would get some input from other moms in the meantime. 

I had a standard epidural, no complications, but in the past 2 months my back, specifically my spine right in the area where my epidural was, is KILLING me. Hurts to move. It's tender to the touch, almost like a bruise. Nothing feels different to the touch, though. Just wondering if anyone else who had an epidural has had any lingering back pain??

    evvvvvvvery now and then my back will hurt in the spot where i got my epidural. mainly when I'm bent over for too long cleaning or something. i would definitely bring it up. i have a friend who has back problems that stem from her epidural too.

    Good to know...now that I am delving into an internet search about this, it seems to be a common occurrence and can be chronic - lifetime! I hate Google. Oh well. Epi was worth it, mostly.

    I still have pain/stiffness in my back, not constantly though. I generally feel it when I bend backward or lay on my stomach. It feels like I can pinpoint where my epidural was given.
