For those with toddlers, can you recommend bath toys that you like? And also, how do you clean them and what products do you use? Need some toys for DD and I haven't been to happy with what I see in the stores. Especially with the squeaky toys, they look like they'd be a germ farm on the inside.
Re: STM+ Rec your toddler bath toys & how you clean them
My daughter likes the stacking cups. She plays tea party with them and flips them over to pretend she's having cupcakes with her tea. We had been given a bunch of rubber duckies ... never again unless they are solid with no holes. Sliced them open after about a week or two and they were disgusting. I don't think you can really clean them properly without dismantling them. Ick.
The good thing about the hard plastic toys, like the stacking cups, is you can just throw them in the dishwasher occasionally.
For SuzyQ and all March 15 loss moms
We tend to do more one time use toys that get thrown away, but definitely not every bath. Things like glowsticks or the capsules that turn into animals (really just a condensed sponge) LO gets a kick out of those.
OH and bubbles. He loves when we blow bubbles in the bath probably more than any toy and it's a no clean-up job plus the bubbles/wand don't get wet so no chance of mold.
