I know it's 3 hours early, but I probably won't have time to type this out tomorrow so I'm starting FFFC now.

DH's grandma and aunts have been saying for months how much DD looks like him. She does resemble him in some ways, but she has some of my features too. It's definitely not like she's the spitting image of her father. They even went so far as to attribute her blonde hair and blue eyes to his side of the family. DH does not have blonde hair or blue eyes. Some of his family members do. I also have blonde hair and blue eyes, but yeah, let's forget about the fact that I'm her mother and say that she got it from her grandpa or great uncle.

Tonight I posted a picture of me at her age and then two pics of her. We're making similar faces and she looks a lot like me. I've gotten several comments already about how we look like twins. I'm getting an absurd amount of pleasure from this and I really, really hope his family sees the post, because I'm sick of them acting like I had no part in creating her and she's only his child.

@kleigh926‌ I know what you mean! I get the same, but in reverse. People are always commenting how much all the kids look like me, but never dh! The worst is my mom. I'll comment how much one of the kids looks like dh, or like our nephew (DH's side) and my mom will flat out deny it. I adore my nephew, and think he's darling and adorable. My mom thinks my nephew is funny looking — to which I take offense! The worst part is that she'll constantly rag on dh how the kids look like me, and therefore her. And I don't see it. They are the spitting image of their father (s).

I'm relieved that we have a 100% chance of all day reason tomorrow. Then I don't have to go to the park. I know there are only limited days left to "enjoy" the park... I just hate it! But C has been begging to go every day this week.

As an added bonus, Amelia threw up super rank milk this morning and got it all over my bathrobe. I completely forgot by tonight and put it on anyway. I remembered when I started smelling stinky milk.

I'm still wearing it an hour later, I just pulled the stinky shoulder off.

Today is the start of a 3-day weekend over here, and DD2 woke up puking. Yay. My confession is that I'm hoping it hits DD1 soon - like, this morning still - so that they're both over it by Monday and we don't have to stay home from work with sick kids.

I am 15 dpo today but am too scared to test. I recently have had a 9-10 day LP but started taking b50 this cycle to lengthen it. I'm afraid that I am not pregnant and the b50 has worked so well that it lengthened it that much and I'm not ready for the disappointment of a BFN. So I will sit here expecting AF to show up because that's easier.

My confession is lighthearted, but I still haven't corrected Simon's improper use of delicious in place of food. Today he watched Jamie grab a piece of bread left over from last night and he shouted at him, "ewwww no no! Ucky dedishes! Eww"

I started the morning eating dark chocolate. I could say it's because I was up with DS at midnight for two hours because he spiked a fever...but I just wanted some. :-)

Yesterday I acted like a giant baby and threw a fit bc DD was being mean to me. She wouldn't let me touch her, or talk to her or take her to the park. She wanted to go to the park but only wanted DH to take her and threw a fit while he changed his clothes.

I know she doesn't know any better and sometimes she picks favourites but it hurt my feels and then took it out on DH and cried a little. I blame pregnancy hormones for my ass like behaviour. DH just laughed at me and gave me a hug.

DH has a bachelor party on Saturday, so it'll just be DD and I from naptime on. I'm torn between contacting her godmother and one of our other close girlfriends to have a nice little girls' night in or go out for dinner or something, or just staying home by myself, hoping DD goes to sleep early and easily, and then spending the evening by myself, reading a book and drinking a glass or two of wine. #introvertproblems :P

So DH's grandma and aunt still posted on my status that she looks more like him than me. They are literally the ONLY ones saying that. Every other person said she looks just like me in those pictures. I'm thinking of posting another pic of myself at her age, saying it's DD, and then laughing at them when they claim that picture looks like him too. I won't do it, but I'm tempted. They annoy the crap out of me.

I know I'm being petty. But I can't help it right now.

No need to lie and claim that it's you - just post the picture and get your laugh in when they make their own assumptions.

Or at least take Rynleigh's suggestion and post a picture of you without identifying who it is and then correct them when they assume it's your DD. ;-)

Sometimes I'll start to say something - make an observation, or something - realize it sounds rude, and try to soften the blow by following up with something similar and negative about myself (or my family/situation/etc). I do this when I feel like I'm being overly braggy, too. A recent example: "DS is really good about eating vegetables - but, you know, he doesn't sleep that great."

It's probably super awkward for the people I'm around lol
