Hey hotties,
Hope your week went very well. No update really for me, other than a few friends have had losses and scared lately, heavy on the heart.
IPS testing is on Monday, looking forward (nervously) to the ultrasound!
GTKY: Do you and your SO fart in front of each other? If no, why not?
We totally do. At night my H is so gross and stinky, I have banned farting in the bed unless he uses one of his 2 weekly FFP passes (full fart privileges). He earns extra ones by doing big chores. We are super weird hahaha but it works and I don't want to kill him when I'm trapped in bed with his ass.
Re: High Risk Check-In 10/3
Diabetes wise I have done really well this week, I hope this is a sign that things are going to get better from here! Symptom wise, I have been having very uncomfortable stretching pains this week. Anyone have a secret way to help this without using meds? Different positions havent helped.'And my constipation has been replaced with pooping 3-4 times a day. I think it may be a touch of the stomach bug or something, I'm not sure.
My husband has no problem farting in front of me, but I still get super embarrassed!!! When it's happened before I usually try to laugh it off or he pretends like nothing happened. It's cute. I will probably need to get over that by the time he comes home (he's on deployment) in February! Cause pregnantcy farts suck!
I hope you all have a good week
We have our NT scan on 10/14. I remember that with our first and I can't wait to see this baby not looking like a blob
11 years together and my husband has yet to intentionally fart in front of me (I don't count the ones in his sleep or the ones I hear from the bathroom). I've let some slip but I try not to only because he hasn't broken the barrier. And he got mad at me because I didn't stifle a burp a few weeks ago. Dude, bodily noises are funny, normal, and if your junk is going in my junk drawer, I should be able to pass gas from either end in front of you.
I don't fart in front of my husband or anyone. He doesn't seem to care but I just think it's gross and don't want to encourage it from him.
12 weeks here and had my NIPT on monday. I'm waiting for the results but the NT scan said low risk. I'm exhausted, bruised from the shots, and tired of throwing up. This morning there was a little blood in it which didn't make me feel so super excited. It wasn't enough to be scary, but enough to know I should probably take some meds and eat something gentle all weekend in the hopes of giving myself some down time.
We totally fart in front of each other. Don't think a thing of it unless it's really smelly, then we both get a good laugh out of how terrible it is.

Hubs and I don't. Not that we haven't on occasion, but we don't make a habit of it. I am quite glad for it!!
I'm glad everything seems to be going well with you ladies!!
12w4d here. I'm beginning my first 24-hour urine collection today for a baseline. With DD, I had to do 3 or 4 if I remember. I hate them. We're supposed to go car shopping today so I'm not sure how that's going to work lol Also, had more blood work. My liver enzymes are already crazy. My primary and OB think it could be because of how sick I was, but I haven't been violently ill in several weeks so I'm just being monitored til they go down. They are ALWAYS normal when I'm not pregnant. So, this is annoying.
I see MFM Monday. I'm nervous
And, my OB gave me strict orders to stay off my blood pressure medicine but I'm worried about that. OF COURSE I didn't remember to tell him how I feel off of them until it was after hours. But I will be sitting doing nothing and my heart rate will all of a sudden go up to the high 140's and I'll feel really short of breath. It goes on for a couple minutes. I don't feel this way when I take them, only if I forget, so I may just stay on them til my MFM appointment. Surely, that can't be normal.
GTKY: we fart all day in front of each other. Basically for the last 7 years, lol. And sometimes we get a good laugh out of it.

@nursemom83, how far along will you be for your glucose test? I'm so not looking forward to that again. I failed my 1hr and passed my 3hr, but boy, was that torture. I'm sorry, I couldn't find it anywhere here, but do you have diabetes or history of GD? Is that why you are doing one in the next couple weeks? Good luck!!
