What time of day did labor begin?

This is for STMs or FTMs with outside babies who went into labor spontaneously. My dear friend and midwife rubbed my knee the other day and asked, "so what night are we gonna do this?" I asked her if labor is likely to begin at night, and she said it does seem more common. Now I'm curious! My first labor began at 2:45am, and both of my mom's labors began in the middle of the night as well. How about yours?

    Im going to say day light hours because I had contractions for half the day and the night before I went to the hospitol.. went in at 430am dilated to a 4 :)

    With my DD my water broke around 10pm.

    Mine began when I woke up at 8 am. It became regular and real at around noon.

    With DS#1 my labour started around 8pm. With DS#2 my water broke at noon, but I needed pitocin at midnight to get my contractions started.

    Contractions started in the evening for this baby--just as I was getting nice and relaxed.

    With my daughter my water sprang a leak at night. Didnt go into labour until the next afternoon though.

    With my son contractions started at around 2 am.

    Both of mine were daytime. With dd1 my water broke at noon. With dd3 my contractions started at 9am and she was born that afternoon.

    I started feeling not very painful contractions at 8 pm and went in to the hospital at 4 am.

    DS1- labor started in afternoon, he was born next morning.
    DS2- I knew I was going into labor in the morning, painful contractions didn't start until afternoon and he was born just after midnight.

    In my classes with DS they said more women go into labor/deliver overnight because their body relaxes while they are sleeping.

    DD: induced at 8am, admitted to the hospital at 9:30am and then she was born at 9:37pm.

    DS: noticed very light contractions around midnight, went to sleep, woke up at 5:30, realized they were the real deal, headed to the hospital and he was born at 11:22am.
