Pretty sure my water broke

I woke up around 2 am in the middle of a contraction with wet shorts and was pretty sure I peed myself. Three changes of underwear and a call to my MW later, we think my water broke! It just feels like little gushes, no huge quantities or a soaked mattress or anything.
Contractions are irregular, about 8-15 min apart and not very painful yet. LO is moving a ton. She wants me to try to go back to sleep (yeah, right) and then head to the hospital at 8 am so they can test the fluid and confirm if it was indeed my water breaking. As soon as my mom gets here to stay with DS we will be heading in.
I really hope this is it!

It's frustrating not to know for sure. Isn't it supposed to smell sweet? Lol
