Stanley Ray "Hindgy"

We've been going back and forth with boy names. It's almost becoming annoying....but today we had an idea.

Dd's middle name is after my grandmother who has always been an extremely important person in my life. Another extremely important person in my life is my best friend of 20 years. Her name is Samantha Rhei. Dh and I thought it would be a good idea to use her middle name if we have a boy. We threw out Stanley because i didn't like how it sounded with our last name but I feel differently with the middle name Ray.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I know a few men named Stanley Ray.
I find the flow a bit odd, but it's not a bad name.

I don't love Stanley, but I think it sounds fine together.

Stanley is NMS, but more importantly -- keep in mind that his middle name is not going to be used most of the time, so in common usage it will still be Stanley Lastname, which you apparently didn't like...
