Baby K'tan sizing

The size chart says L is for size 14-16 and XL is 18-22. I was a 16-18 pre-preg...do I go big or small?

I was a 12-14 pre and got the large. It was a bit too big so I exchanged for the medium one. It's a much better fit. I would go smaller.

I went a size down. I still needed to wash and dry it every week or 2 to shrink it back down so it wouldn't be loose. I'd rather have a little tight than drop the baby.

This is a good point!

I know everything I see says a size down but the rules sort of go out the window the bigger you get for some things. Thanks everyone!

I got an x-small for the K-tan and I'm glad I did. Even though I was sized for a small, It fits me and LO perfectly, so going with the "size down" advice worked for us.
