Bday Gift(s) for Twins

DD is invited to a birthday party for b/g twins from daycare on Saturday. They are turning 3. Would it be weird/ awkward to give one gift for both of them? I was thinking of a larger toy or more likely a gift card for the movie theater.

Re: Bday Gift(s) for Twins

  • Yeah, that was my hesitation with one gift. I wouldn't want the kids to feel slighted.

  • I agree, two small gifts. My twins aren't to the friend birthday party stage yet, but if one has something - the other definitely wants one too.

  • I think at that age it's important for them to each have a gift to open but they aren't going to realize if one is pricey and one is not. I guess if you have something in mind that they can easily share just put something fun but inexpensive with it maybe?

  • I'm a b/g twin. We often received presents we could share when we were young. We shared so much, so it was nice to get my own present, even if it was small.

  • Another twin mom chiming in, I'd go with 2 gifts.
