Can you have a first tri screening at 14 1/2 weeks??

    The NT scan has a specific timeframe that ends in the 13th week (not sure if it is 13w3d or 13w6d).

    There are other blood tests that can be done later.

    CVS and amnio are invasive tests and can be done outside of 1st tri as well.

    My ob told me today it must be done by no later than 13 and 6. False positives are more prevalent after that time.

    Sometimes the first tri screening is done in a genetics lab not during an OB appointment. Are you sure it is being done at the appointment and you aren't just having a regular check up?
