Why, hello there. I suppose I should introduce myself.

Looks like it is an introduction day around here, so I decided to finally make my presence known. I have been lurking for quite a while and have posted a few responses, first under my original Knot screen name and then this one. My husband and I are currently expecting our second amazing son. I had a MMC at 13 weeks due to Trisomy 15 with my first pregnancy, so we are relieved to have uneventfully made it to the second trimester. I am 37 years old, have been married 6 years, joyfully work full-time, and am a proud Carolina Tar Heel. My technology skills are weak, so expect no masterful GIFs from me. I can't even figure out how to put a ticker in my signature after reading the directions on the blog 10 times. I appreciate dry wit, am an excellent follower of directions, and am looking forward getting to know all of you over the next 6 months.

It feels like home every time I go back - I spent the best 6 years of my life there. A group of my girlfriends are going to Homecoming this year and we are all bringing our kids to their first game in Blue Heaven. I can't wait.
