I am in the market for some new toys for LO but don't want to waste my money.   What are your LO's favorites?  Currently the faves in our house is sophie, rattle, and a moose toy (has rattles int he hooves, crinkle fabric and a squeaker)  she is also starting to like the fisher price laugh and learn puppy.

 

Also I have ceramic tile floors, and was thinking about getting the foam play mats.  anyone else have tile,  what do you do?

    LO has complete access to all of DS1's toys here too.
    I can't keep them away. Lol.

    There is Lego Duplo and Mega Bloks here (bright colours).
    Cars and trucks of all sizes.
    Balls.
    Stuffed toys (most of them are teething type toys).
    Fisher Price sit/stand piano thingy.
    Baby Einstein bouncer (exersaucer type thing).

    If he can grab it, he will play with it.

    He also loves his socks and blankets in his mouth.

    DS1 and DD each got a set of wooden spoons. (I haven't given any to LO because I fear that DS1 would hit LO or the cat with them now)

    LO had a fisher price remote control that lights up and plays music. She also loves playing with plastic cups and board books.
    I just recently gave her a doll. I think it's called My First Doll and is also by fisher price. I wasn't sure if she'd play with it yet but she really likes it.

    LO and I take a music class and we play these instruments. LO loves them and I'm buying them for her Christmas stocking.

    Foam mat! That's such a good idea. We've been struggling to figure out ways to give LO practice crawling time on our hardwood floors and I totally forgot about foam mats. As far as toys goes, he plays with almost all the same toys as your LO, a crinkled ear vibrating mouse, an elephant rattle, Scout the Leapfrog Pal dog, and a silicone puppy chew thing. He does love this vtech pretend tablet thing. And his exersaucer too. But mainly he loves my cell phone and the xbox controller.

    J's current favorite toy is an old DVD player remote I took the batteries out of. Second favorite is this mini piano thing from Baby Einstein, though he mostly likes to beat on it to make the rattle shake. It's similar to this:
