When you can no longer see your feet...

So baby brain, clumsiness and my growing belly are not a good combination. I literally broke my toe this evening by kicking my ottoman while trying to walk across the living room... And now I'm a waddling, limping pregnant woman .

Anyone else having pregnancy accidents?

  • Ouch! Hope you heal quickly. That's gotta suck.

No real incidents so far but I am super clumsy lately, maybe because I'm so top heavy. Ha

  • Thank you @smack427‌ . And I hope your clumsiness doesn't cause you as much grief as mine has caused me !
  • Ouch, lady! I'm sorry. Mostly I keep banging my bump into everything. I did trip over a box the other day. To be fair I was carrying my sleeping 3.5 year old so I really couldn't see anything.

  • I keep opening doors like the fridge and whatnot and they bump into my bump lol. Also i can no longer see my feet or my belly button.
  • I've stepped on entirely too many legos because I can't see them. I wouldn't wish stepping on legos upon my worst enemy.

  • Pregnancy Bump and a backpack has lead to a lot of clearance issues.

  • I tripped over DH's guitar case and got a nice bruise and cut... When I asktold him to move it, he told me I should just watch where I was going. X(
  • I sometimes just lose my balance and fall without doing anything. Maybe I'm just a weird, unbalanced person but I really hope it's normal.
  • My turtle-like awkwardness ended with me going face first into the sand yesterday because I couldn't stand up fast enough to avoid an oncoming wave.
  • I hope you feel better. Yeah, I'm a waddler who can't see her feet. Between that and pregnancy brain, I've been a hot mess lately. I should be put in a safety bubble for the next 10 weeks.

I do this sometimes too. Usually when I'm having a conversation with someone, I just start falling over. My DD is a crawler now and is pulling up on everything. When she crawls to me and stands up holding my legs I can't see her without leaning over, which is dangerous for both of us!

Haha well at least you have an excuse. I'm just clumsy I guess.
  • You may have read my thread last week about cutting the tip of my finger off while chopping kale. That has been the worst of it so far, but I have definitely been clumsy! Mostly bumping into things and losing my balance, like PPs :)

  • That's awful @mgk207‌ ! Hope you're healing quickly!
  • I'm definitely glad I'm not the only clumsy one but am now feeling we should all be wearing padding everywhere we go!
