So tomorrow I'm required to go to a conference for all the teachers in my diocese. It's at a large convention center type place. I've been there before -- it's basically a warehouse with a snack stand and some bathrooms. I will need to pump once while I'm there, and I'm trying to figure out how to make this work. There is a 30 minute break during the sessions. My back up plan is to go out to my car to pump -- but hot and my pump doesn't suck that great when it's on battery power.
How do I ask for a space to pump -- or if there's a space? Do I ask someone at the registration desk? My principal and coworkers will be there, but, honestly, I'm not sure they know I pump at work, and I don't know that they can provide any assistance since it's not at our building (in which case I'd use my classroom). Do you have any tips for me?

Re: Help me use my words (re: pumping)
Hopefully they have something since, in theory, they have employees too that would potentially need a pumping room. Although sometimes those places aren't available for outside guests.
Worst case scenario, could you bring a manual pump? Pumping a car isn't the best, but with a cover you'd be discrete and at least you could blast the a/c?
ETA - you should be able to get a car adapter instead of batteries.
