  I said excellent. I still like to use recipes for inspiration, because while I am good I am not creative, lol. But I tweak, change, etc to make it my own and I do cook often without recipes as well. There isn't much I don't feel confident in cooking.

  I can cook, but H is like a gourmet kind of cook.  Why would I cook when someone lives with me that enjoys cooking and does it so well?

  <-----culinary school dropout. But I made straight A's until I quit. It just wasn't for me. I've been cooking since I was 2. I pushed a chair up to the counter and dug right in.

   BFP on Cycle 17 09/27/12. EDD 06/04/12! Please Stick Baby! A/S 01/22/13 Baby looking great. Officially TEAM BLUE! Jack is getting a Baby Brother! RCS scheduled for 05/29/13.   I said excellent, but only really using my talents up to competent at the moment. No one cares really how well I cook at home and I try to stay on budget. If I had the time, more money and people to show off for there would be a lot more use of my weird kitchen items going on.

  I'm a good cook, I just don't always feel like putting in time and effort. So egg sandwiches and chicken nuggets are often our meals.

  I like recipes and I'm creative. It's a good mix. I'm not afraid to try something new and I rarely mess anything up.

  I've watched so many hours of good network, that I feel like I can cook most things withou a recipe. I haven't tried the super fancy stuff very often, but that's mostly because we don't have the budget for the fancy ingredients and most of the people I cook for (family and friends) don't have particularly advanced palettes.   I LOVE cooking and all pretty much any and all things related to food. I don't like following recipes but I'll usually use them for inspiration and go from there. Sadly my husband really doesn't care about food at all and is one of those people who only eats to live so my audience is lacking. I'm determined to make L a foodie so someone else in my house can enjoy my food love.
