Flying alone with baby

I'm flying by myself with baby girl next week. She'll be two months old at the time. Any tips/tricks/advice on what to do or bring? And what to do? It's a three hour total travel time with a quick plane change. I'll be carrying her with me as I didn't want to purchase an additional ticket. Thanks for your help!!

    I will be doing the same. I'll have a bottle and pacifier for take off and landing (for the ears). Change of clothes, plenty of diapers, gas drops (sometimes the taste calms him down). Antibacterial wipes (planes are germy and he doesn't need another cold).

    I think I'll check the stroller at the gate and then wear him.

    I'm open to other tips!

    Do you nurse or bottle feed? I'd do a feeding or pacifier at takeoff/landing, and wear her in the airport. Probably easier to fly with a baby at this stage then any other, hopefully she mostly sleeps!

    I flew with DS1 as a lap baby a couple times before I knew better and I will tell you even when they are young it isn't easy. Yes, he slept pretty much the entire time, but I was so uncomfortable holding him for 3 straight hours in a tiny confined space. You can't wear baby during take off and landing and putting them back on is hard after they are already out for that. Like the link a PP used, it is best for baby to have their own seat. It is hard to go to the bathroom with a baby and who else would hold them? I know that isn't really what you want to hear, but it is actually what is easiest.
