Stupid Question

I am finally getting around to adding a signature. I looked up directions on how to add an image as my siggy from another month board that still has the directions stickied to the top of their board but it didnt work

Anyone remember how to do it and can share directions?

so I just changed my avatar, why is it not showing up? it shows when you click on my name I think.
