Ladies, if you can find any newborn t-shirts I recommend buying a pack. I can only find them on Amazon.

At the hospital they had DD in the t-shirts with a diaper and swaddled. When I brought her home the onesie had a zipper on the front that tore her umbilical cord and caused it to bleed. The pediatrician we had at the time cauterized it causing it to fall off too early and required me to specially clean it. It traumitized me (post pregnancy horomones).

Zulily also has them occasionally (obviously depending on the venders). I have gotten a few organic cotton ones from them. Gerber also sells multipacks of the side snap tops.

Newborn t-shirts are often overlooked. I know I didn't register for them and only found out how handy they were after using them in the hospital.

Also, they are great gifts for micro preemies who come home with monitors and/or feeding tubes. Helps with managing the tubes and wires.

Exactly! I've looked at Target and BRU without luck. Amazon is the only place I've been able to find them.

Thanks for this! Just added a couple packs to my target registry. Also probably easier to undress them during nursing sessions.
