Is this true? laying on your back....

Is it true that if you lay on your back to sleep while you are pregnant then the chord can get wrapped around the neck

  • My understanding is after 20 weeks avoid sleeping on your back all night. This prevents your uterus from putting pressure on your major blood vessels. It's best to lie on your left side for optimal blood circulation but the right side is okay as well. It's no big deal if you wake up and find you're on your back just roll back to your side.

  • Is it bad to lay on your back during the beginning of pregnancy or the whole pregnancy?
  • Later in pregnancy @rae1717‌ Like 20 weeks I think. I'm a back sleeper so I have been trying to get in the habit of it now.
