Crazy Dreams!!!!

I've always had vivid dreams of odd things but not like this and so often. One night it was dragging a strange women out of my bed with hubby. Think I broke her neck (satisfying). Not a typical dream for me though. Then another night was my dad confessing to disturbing acts. Can't even elaborate it's so crazy. I have to coolest dad ever but this dream still shook me. And this afternoon was being attacked by a freaky looking snake after dropping off my baby at some celebrity daycare...

Anybody else got the sleep creeps care to share?

Same here! Last night I dreamt that I was on a subway car sitting in the far corner. I saw a gunman standing at the door pointing the gun at everyone. I was terrified and I was telling the woman next to me to duck and cover the back of her head. The guy in the door disappeared and then suddenly, I was shot twice in the back through the outside of the subway car. I felt the pain and I slumped over thinking, "this is it...I'm dying" and then I woke up.

I then proceeded to wake up my husband to tell him how scared I was and refused to get up to go pee because I was so scared! This was at like 1:30am - so it was a long time to wait until the alarm went off! Wish I'd have some GOOD dreams...
  • I don't EVER dream normally, but with this second trimester I've been having very disturbing work dreams; I'm an RN in ICU and the dreams involve dramatic medical emergencies that leave me shaken for hours after. I guess my job effects me more than I realize if it's affecting my subconscious

  • I had a dream the other day that I was investigating a shady car repair place (they replace all the good parts with used ones without telling you while you have your rental). So I was chasing the guy and he attacked me so I started choking him and he started choking me and lifted me up and then I woke up. It was crazy. My dreams tend to play out like movies so on the rare occasion that I am me in a dream is trips me out. Although, I'm definitely not an undercover detective.

  • Yep. Strange detailed dreams galore. -.- Had a D&C to take out a deceased twin, only to find months later I had triplets and the twins were sick because the deceased sibling had not been removed even though I had some sort of procedure so she needed to be removed again(finally) leaving me with only boys. Stressful.

  • Lol I feel bad for all the times I've shaken my husband out of his peaceful rest to tell him a dream that was terrifying to experience but as soon as i explain it it sounds like a silly cartoon. He then rolls over annoyed. Poor guy. I have a lot of sex dreams too but they're always weird and not really arousing material.

I've noticed that work does have a big play into your dreams!! I work as a vet tech and I can remember one of my dreams had to do with a zombie apocalypse an me giving birth to a full grown dog. I can't even imagine having dreams about medical emergencies!!!

  • I haven't had anything totally creepy, just really weird. Last night I had a dream that I was on a romantic couch cuddling date with the actor who plays Patrick Drake on General Hospital. It was so real and we were so cute lol. I am happily married IRL but I wasn't in my dream.

Woke up to pee and went back to bed. Then I was dreaming that we were having a big party, and a fire truck came for all the kids to see. As me and DS were walking up to the fire truck, it was playing "Reindeers are better than people." A song from Frozen. I thought that was super cute, until we got to the truck and there were stacks of deer antlers everywhere...???? I guess that's pretty creepy.

  • I've been having some pretty vivid sex dreams which is strange because I have zero sex drive while I'm actually awake.

I had a dream that I gave birth to my dog too, and then tried to breastfeed her. So odd!!

  • Wow the animal births are wild...breastfeeding your pet smh. The things out minds dream up...crazy. Its worse because sometime the weirdest stuff is going on in a dream but it feels normal until you wake up. Then you realize how nuts it was and how little sense it made.
  • I'm having the weirdest dreams also. One of my freakiest dreams was that I gave birth to my baby and was changing it's poopy diaper and proceeded to place it in the trash bin. I cried and asked my SIL why I has to do that every time I changed it's poopy diaper and she said, "it's just the way of life, they always come back anyway.". sure enough my newborn materialized back into my arms. That dream was so disturbing lol.

  • When this thread was first made I couldn't sympathize I didn't have any story to share I've been sleeping normal dreaming here and there... Long behold last nights sleep!!!! I had a similar dream as @jvdurant‌ including hubby and some woman on a camping trip my entire family was there and she's prancing around and I was like the bear in the woods that you don't want to meet. And in the dream my husband was an ass and said I was over reacting. Do you know I woke up crying.... Ladies fully crying! My husband woke up rolled over like omg r u okay holding and cradling me... I couldn't believe it! When I came to I could only think of this thread!! Lol
  • I had a dream I was in a car accident and lost my baby :( .

Then I was in a coma and everyone was coming to say their heart felt goodbyes to me. I could only hear them but I was in a coma so I couldn't respond. It was depressing!!!

  • @tatilopez‌ ugh those dreams give me such a deep unexplainable feeling. Nobody sees the wrong but you...frustrating.
  • @LBeez13‌ oh man. I know you were glad to wake up from that. That makes me wonder how many people (if any) have been in a coma, but they can hear everyone saying goodbye like they're about to take them off life support. I just developed a new fear lol. That's right up there with being buried alive.
  • Hey just a question. Outside of pregnancy, has anyone else had those paralyzed in sleep episodes? I used to have them all the time starting around age 4. Maybe sooner I can't remember. I couldn't move or breathe for what seemed like forever and it would happen multiple times. As soon as I could open my eyes I could feel my body locking back down and my lungs depress, eyes shutting. At a point I would be lying there frozen, fully aware, suffocating silently. I've been laying next to people praying they would notice and move my body even an inch but it only once has anyone ever done so. They started to ween off a bit at about age 23.
  • I have my fair share of odd and sexual dreams but last nights was quite interesting.  I guess it was after the baby had been born and hubby was worried that we were short on cash and we needed some quick money.  So he set up an entire film studio so that he could direct and film me in a porno.  At first he had other people cast to have sex with me, but then when we were getting ready to film he went crazy and said he would be the only one being filmed having sex with me. Then I started to argue with him saying that no one would want to watch an entire video of different scenerios of us having sex.

Not sure what the subconscious is saying about that one... but ummm awkward.

  • Last night I dreamed that my teeth were really loose and then kept falling out. My back teeth would just crumble to pieces. I missed 2 days of work because I couldn't find a dentist to help and I wasn't going to work like that.......
