Bladder Infection - Prescribed Antibiotic

My Doctor just emailed me and told me that I had a bladder infection (after I gave them a urine sample) and so they prescribed me Cephalexin. Ugh!

I'm one of those who hates to take any kind of drugs while pregnant.  So I am not exactly a happy camper, but I did a quick google and see that is Class B. So I guess I need to suck it up because it I'd rather it not get any worse and become a kidney infection.

Anyone else experience this yet and prescribed an antibiotic while pregnant?

    I am almost 14 wks and have had 2 uti's... Two different antibiotics. The OB said this is really common during pregnancy.

    I feel like getting some azo strips at cvs to check myself today actually. I feel like I might have one too. Maybe I'll join the keflex club with you!

    I just finished a round for a uti. Better to get it taken care of than risk it getting worse and causing serious problems for you or baby. I'm also taking probiotics to help avoid a yeast infection.
