Trying to Get Pregnant

Chart stalk me please, I'm not trusting fertility friend right now

Take a gander at my chart and see if you agree with the O date. I have been watching for my fertility signs and had no ewcm so I didn't think ovulation would have occurred at the date it gave. This is the second O date FF has given me. The first one was CD8. So I am feeling unsure about it. I actually though it would have been yesterday based on the dip/spike. How does it know that was the day I ovulated? I've had higher temp jumps than the one it is confirming O with. (In case you need the info, the dotted lines are while I was traveling with my mom so I didn't temp those dates, prior to the dotted line I was in the next time zone over, after the dotted line I was back in my normal time zone) Also, I'd like to ask you ladies if this is a "rocky" pattern or if it looks normal. And I seem to only have creamy cm, the days I marked as W I feel as though I was being generous. I guess I expected to see more of a clear pattern of Cm.. Thanks so much for your help! https://www.fertilityfriend.com/m/home.php/51fc3e

  • Did my chart work? Mobile is hard for me...
  • Loading the player...
  • Doesn't look like you've ovulated yet.

  • Ok thank you, I feel validated. I was side eyeing FF when it gave me the cover line this morning.
  • I agree, I don't trust those crosshairs either.  I hate it when FF does that.

  • I've taken the tutorials and read TCOYF, that's why I felt it didn't look right.
  • I agree with everyone else. Keep having the sex and see what the next few days look like.

    My Chart
  • I agree with MorwenCimorene. Your temp will either jump and ff is right or it goes back down and ff is wrong.   I wouldn't put too much stock into those crosshairs at least for a few more days.

    My Ovulation Chart
  • @Budders12‌ No this is month 2. My last O date was CD 22 and I had ewcm the day before. Before I started charting I would notice the ewcm, but since I wasn't temping I can only assume a date along with it. My cycles are generally in the 36 ish range.

I agree with others about not ovulating yet. You might want to try a different sign other than CM. A lot of women have totally random CM, including myself, so it's not really indicative of anything. Yours looks that way to me. Maybe try adding OPKs.

  • @LadyAle‌ that was my thought also. So when those CH popped up today I got all confused and started to doubt FF. @KatzKiss‌ I was using cervical positioning as a secondary sign along with the cm, but didn't feel like it was accurate for me, so I stopped last cycle. Anything else besides OPKs that can be used as a secondary sign? Thanks for all the confirmation ladies, I really appreciate it. :)

Unfortunately, no. Just the two primary-BBT and CM and secondary-cervical and fertility tests. Just use what you're comfortable with. As long as you're at least temping, you're good.

Aside from temping, only OPKs have any accuracy in helping to provide the whole picture.  You can get EW or watery CM at random times throughout your cycle (I often do) and cervical position is so subjective.  In my year and a half of charting, the only indicators that were ever consistent for me (and with each other) pretty much every month were temps and OPKs.

  • @maggie515‌ Since I am new to temping and FF when you said, "I actually though it would have been yesterday based on the dip/spike" do you mean dip as in your temp dips down before it spikes after O?
  • Yeah I am wondering if your temp tomorrow will confirm ovulation for CD24.
