Reiki reading...

Anyone have any experience with a Reiki reading?  I am not really familiar at all and I took my two younger boys to get there haircut today and the place was empty and before I knew it the owner said she would do a reading for me and I was laying down on a barbers chair with a crystal hanging over my belly.  She said the baby was a girl and that she has never been wrong.  
I have three boys at home now so it would be a change of pace to have a girl, but obviously I am not painting walls or anything yet based on this.

    This!! I'm an RMT and have worked with people who have been trained in Reiki therapy, I've never heard any of them making predictions on things. It's all about energy healing and opening up chakras.

    I was just asking because it was something I had never heard of it.  I asked about the medium because the first couple posts said about it not being science and comparing it to fortune tellers.

    I was just curious because I figured if you don't believe in mediums, psychic....you wouldn't believe in something like this.

    I totally get the heeby geebies when the acupuncturist starts talking about "energies" but at least they are on to something possibly in the realm of future science with the mind-body connection and the nervous system. Crystals are just inert inorganic molecular structures. They do look pretty....
