Trying to Get Pregnant

IVF how many times before pregnancy

This is my first IVF, had 2, fresh 3day embryos transferred. 2 still waiting in the freezer. I am actually waiting in the office to have my beta this am but woke up to spotting so not too hopeful. I had 2 iuis then had a laparoscopy to have endometrosis removed. Then 2 more iuis now have moved on to IVF. I was wondering how many times people have done IVF or FET and when they were successful. Any input is greatly appreciated :)

WARNING, LOSS AND LIVING CHILD MENTIONED!

You're body will not react the same as others so anybody else' success will have no bearing on your own, however, here's my story:

1st attempt, 11 eggs collected, 2 fertilised, 2 implanted At 3 days, bled 9 days later, both eggs removed by hospital as both could be seen working there way out. Waited 9 months to begin round 2.

2nd attempt, 18 eggs collected, 6 fertilised, 2 implanted at 5 days, other eggs not strong enough to freeze, tested 14 days later and got BFP, LO is thriving now (born this year).

Before my ivf story, I had 4 mc's, nobody knows why, I prayed everyday my ivf would not end the same way.

Before ivf I had endo and hydrosalpinx along with a LOT of scar tissue in my ute. Had endo and both tubes removed, also the scar tissue in a 5 hour op (yeah, shit was bad), I think having a child was my miracle because I also have rhesus - blood, and we all know what a pain that can be when tty too.

Moral of the story, I was damn lucky, and I count my blessings everyday, but not everyone gets it so easy (I consider my journey easy compared to what others have to face).

I wish you all the luck in the world, but don't get your hopes up based on someone else' story.

Edit because tb thinks it knows my blood group better than me, grrrr!
