I feel so incredibly stupid for even having to ask this, but here goes:
To those who've used nursing camis before, or plan to use them now, how the heck do you work these things?? I just received two Bravado nursing camis today that I ordered from Target, and somehow they have me confused 8-} I tried one on and don't get the point of the little sling inside? I thought at first maybe they're supposed to cover my nips, but instead they sit on the outer sides of my boobs. Like side-boob cradles. Are they meant to hold the nursing pads in place?
Also, the fabric in the shelf bra creates this weird puckered look right in the dead center of my boobs. WHY. Will it look normal once there's a nursing pad in there? Seriously, these should've come with an instruction manual. And the Google was no help (I did look there first, promise!) either. :-w
Re: Nursing cami question
ETA - no idea about the pucker. Nursing pads probably won't change much. Maybe it's the fit? PIP?

Anyway to answer your questions...Puckering sounds like a fit issue but of course that may change with your milk coning in. The sling is to keep you from losing the strap when you have it undone to nurse LO...the easiest way to see what I mean is to put it on. Then unsnap it and let your bewb out. Then go to snap it back up. If it wasn't connected by the sling the shoulder strap would have fallen back and you'd have to be an extortionist in order to put your clothes back on
Hopefully after a couple months you won't need nursing pads anymore (they're fairly uncomfortable) but I always fold mine in the shirt part that covers my nip if it doesn't need changed yet so it's not constantly disappearing...Oh and I keep the Binky in between my boobs or on the outside of opposite boob so it's easier to find too
