your coworker is an idiot. Tell them its very popular over here. One of my coworkers had a salmon and cream cheese bagel for lunch today. Not uncommon. I frequenly have salmon sandwiches.

I grew up in the PNW, so I'm not a good gauge, but my husband's from Michigan and his whole family eats salmon frequently.

This is not a simple yes or no question. All salmon is not created equal. Farmed Atlantic Salmon is bland and mushy. Chum salmon is known here as dog salmon because the Alaskan Natives feed it to their dogs. Pink salmon is pretty bland. King, silver and red salmon are all delicious!

I voted yes, but I don't love fish. Salmon can be prepared several ways that I find tolerable. My favorite is raw with a slice of lemon

Salmon is my favorite! I'm from the PNW though. When i used to cook it in college me roommates would get mad at me for stinking up the house.

Whenever I'm in FL I can't get enough grouper. DH and I even had a contest once to see who could eat the most grouper during our vacation. He won.

I voted no as I just don't really care for fish in general, but I live in the northeast and salmon is a very popular fish to eat here. My husband loves salmon fishing and bringing home fresh fish. I will occasionally eat it, and keep trying to convince myself to like it since it is so good for you lol!

I have lived all over the US and have enjoyed salmon for nearly 40 years now.

SO made it for dinner last night with some mazitaki (sp?) mushroom rice.

I don't eat meat but word on the street is salmon is delicious. But seafood grosses me out. Especially lobster and crabs. And the little legs on shrimp and prawns.. =; I wish I was into fish because I love sushi but the vegetarian sushi tastes awesome.
