Crawling

Anyone else's LO not crawling still? My daughter will be nine months tomorrow. She can't figure out quite yet how to get on her knees on her own. When she leans forward in sitting position she ends up flat on her tummy. :) she actually seems more interested in standing and trying to start cruising on furniture.

    DS juuuust started crawling like 2 weeks ago, and he just turned 9 mo on Sunday. First army crawling (basically dragging himself with his arms), then knee crawling about a week later. Prior to that, he did exactly what you are describing...I was starting to think he would skip crawling altogether. It sounds like your LO is getting there, try not to worry! :)

    Ben went from not moving forward at all to army crawling to sitting himself up to regular crawling to pulling himself up to standing all in his 9th month, it was a very bust month for him!! He was very into waving/clapping/pointing/'soooo big' etc during the 8th month then moved onto new stuff in the 9th I guess. Your LO will be on the go in no time, and it's all normal :)

    my LO is not crawling yet, she kind of does what yours does.

    she was 9 months on the 19th

    our DR said his first started walking at 13 months and crawled at 15 months yet

    I'll add I've been freaking out about it because my nephew who is 4 weeks younger than dd has been crawling for weeks now.... Into everything

    Same... She turned 10 months on the 21st. She can't figure out how to get on all 4s.

    tell me about it, Our family friends LO is 3 months younger and has been crawling for a bit

    my LO is 10 months and she still just does the army crawl. She will get up on her hands and knees but then when she goes to move she flattens to her tummy and drags herself! She is showing more interest in trying to walk then trying to get the crawling down though.

    Us too. No crawling but can stretch for days if she needs to. Lots of rolling and scooting herself around in a circle/ backwards. Turning 10 months on Saturday.

    My DH never crawled as a baby. MIL said he used to roll to where he wanted to go and then went straight to walking.
