Ok - maybe I'm jumping the gun. And maybe I'm avoiding packing the last of the boxes. ;-) But I was curious to see if anyone had ideas for Halloween costumes bouncing around - for yourself and/or your kiddos?
EV and I talked about doing a Game of Thrones theme since Kaden with his wild hair reminds us of Tyrion. We'll see if we really go that route.
I can't even remember the last time I dressed up for Halloween! So, I'm no help! My niece is going to be a peacock. She's obsessed with animals, birds in particular, and has been set to be a peacock for months!
We are doing a twist on the flintstones. J is going to be Wilma, I'm going to be Betty and M is going to be Bam-Bam. I need to get working on our costumes. I should add going to the fabric store to our to-do list for the weekend.
I want to dress Ash up as Big Al, the mascot of the University of Alabama - my alma mater and Bama's namesake. My plan is to buy an elephant costume and a toddler sized Bama tshirt to wear over it. Where he'll wear it... I'm not sure.
@ATXmommas I love that idea!! I need to see pictures of this, if it happens!
I have loved elephants since I was little. I have an elephant tattoo on my ankle (a total spur of the moment decision that I swore I would never do with a tattoo!) and I secretly like Alabama just because of their mascot lol
I probably would have skipped it this year, but someone gave us a baby doctor costume that is going to be the right size -- so he will wear that. I am thinking daycare might do something? And I will probably just take him to the neighbors' house and take a photo of him.

We keep throwing around ideas for costumes, but nothing is set in stone yet. I'm not creative and don't want to spend an arm and a leg on costumes, so it's a little challenging. We are hoping to take the girls to some local indoor events, like at the mall, we are also looking into an event at our zoo that's kids friendly. I'm not taking them door to door trick or treating until they are much older.

I miss the days of picking out their costumes!
