Rice cereal and stinky farts!

DS has the stinkiest farts since starting rice cereal.  We are going to have to air out the nursery or something (we normally keep the door shut because of the cats) but he has stunk up that room with his stinky gas.  It's awful.  He only poops every couple of days now but the farts, oh my.  Please tell me this doesn't get worse when we add new solids in a month or so.

    I was thinking it might be the rice cereal as well. DD just plain stinks lately. I can't tell whether it is her or the dog.

    when we started DS on rice, he had horrible farts, and only pooped every 2-3 days (hence the stinky farts).  Now that he is taking more fruits and veggies and oatmeal cereal, he's pooping 1-3 times per day, they STINK....but he's not farting as much! 

    The rice can be constipating to the babies.  Try mixing it with a bit of juice to help DC "work it out easier"
