What's the deal with the pizza?

When I posted a smart ass response in the things that have been discussed ad naseum thread someone posted a pic of pizza in response and I had no idea what it meant. I've been on here since the beginning but I don't post a ton and miss a lot so clearly I missed something because I noticed today that a bunch of you have pizza in your siggys (I normally am mobile). So what is the deal with the pizza?
