Not laughing?

Anyone else's baby not laughing yet? DS is 4.5 months old and we have maybe gotten one semi-laugh out of him to date. He's giggled in his sleep a couple of times. Otherwise, big smiles and lots of squeals but no laughing!! Is he broken?? (I kid, I kid).

Maybe you just aren't funny enough! Ha! We've seen LO do little giggles here and there but no big laughs. Until we were at a kids birthday party this weekend. There were 2 boys diving down a bounce house slide and she started cracking up. Full on belly laughs. We can't get her to do it again. We think we just aren't that funny to her and need to find something else that cracks her up! You should have seen DH and I trying to jump on the couch to get her to laugh again.

This is exactly how LO is...I keep wondering when he will laugh! Pretty sure I am not funny enough. It is killing me! We had full on belly laughs with DS1 at this point.

My LO only really laughs when we tickle her or DH bounces her on the bed. She thinks it's hilarious! She won't just be laying on the ground and spontaneously break into laughter, we have to try to elicit it from her.

This LO laughs CONSTANTLY- but my middle son didn't until he was over six months old. He's ten now, and hilarious, smart, and perfect.

DS giggles all the time but we've only had 2 proper belly laughs. First one was at a squirty bath toy, the next day he thought it was just mildly amusing

I'm not funny at all to her apparently. My husband can get her to do the full belly laughs! She thinks he is hilarious.

Mine makes noises and tries to laugh but ends up coughing it's like she hasn't really figured it out yet. Although there has been a couple times she's giggled but I had to work really hard

Rarely. I was lucky enough to get a great video which I seriously watch on the daily bc it's rare that I get good laughs out if her.

No laughs here. It makes me so sad that we are almost 5 months and not laughing. We get huge gunny smiles but no laughs.

I've decided that I don't laugh a lot so it must be that. (And I'm not funny)

So happy to see this post tonight but mostly happy that no one seems to be worried about the lack of laughter. I was sort of (okay, really) worrying about mine. He'll be 5 months next week. Huge smiles and he thinks everything is funny just no noise to go with it yet.
