GTKY: Alcohol Edition

Ok so I can't figure out how to search on this stupid blackberry so forgive me if this has been done before.

I have been off booze for so long now I am looking for some inspiration. For the ladies out there that enjoy the odd beverage or two... What's your poison?

For the ladies that don't do booze - please feel free to join in with your favorite non alcoholic drink!

    I drink maybe 2-3 times a year. I like wine.

    But since I'm lame like that, my favorite non alcoholic drink is coffee.

    Gin and ginger ale
    Dirty martini
    Scotch, neat with a little spring water (Macallan, Talisker, Glenmorangie)
    Flavored vodka and sprite if I want something sweeter

    Wine and beer. Lots of it! I like IPAs for beer, Pinot noir and Chardonnay for wine (but like most kinds really).

    I hate liquor. Rarely drink it.

    Wine and Beer.

    Kentucky bouron barrel ale is one of my favorites!! Fat Weasel (trader joes) is really good.Right now, pumpkin beers - Pumking!

    Wine I like Pinot noirs or red blends and reislings or Sauvignon blanc

    Bully Hill Growlers Reisling is my favorite. College days I would mix with green amp. Perfect pregame drink sounds gross but it's actually super great!

    Red wine or a jack and ginger ale. Once in a while beer, but I am finding that after this pregnancy I don't have much taste for beer anymore.

    I love beer and wine. I'm a big fan of IPAs for beer. My fave this time of year is Dogfish Punkin Ale -- sadly, they don't have it here in AL:(. Cabernet or Pinot Noir are my fall choices for wine.

    Beer is my go-to drink at dinner or just whenever drink. I list moscato when I'm tired of beer and want something sweet. If I'm at the bar and want something stronger then I go to raz vodka with sugar free redbull or jack honey and diet.

    Craft beer, thanks to DH. Usually 1 per day. Stouts are my fave. Pour it into a stout glass and it looks like chocolate! Liquor only on special occasions. My fave lately is Sailor Jerry rum with coke. It'll put hair on your chest! Kidding. It's pretty strong.

    I could swear this thread has been done before, 'cause I remember replying to something like this.

    Anyway, I hardly ever drink alcohol, but when I do I like "girly" drinks (according to most people I've drunk alcohol around, anyway) like midori sours and something my aunt ordered for me once called a vodka Collins. Also like something a friend made for me once that she called a mudslide, but not according to every mudslide recipe I've unearthed. It was basically a nice thick chocolate milkshake.

    Non-alcoholic is definitely chai tea, in all its various delicious and wonderful forms. Hot and plain, latte, cold in milk. Any way I can get it in my face. Om nom nom.

    When I'm out somewhere, Long Island ice tea. Sooooo good! Also strawberry daquiri's.
    At home, cheap wine like Boones's farm, oj and vodka, or wine coolers. Green Apple Smirnoff Ice = super yumminess.

    Beeer! Usually lagers. And ciders...I lived in the UK for a while and there was this strawberry lime cider that was divine on a summer day. I've googled extensively but can't find it where I am now :(. I did find a tasty substitute which is, incidentally, blackberry flavoured.

    I drink wine too (usually white) but I haven't had a mixed drink in ages.

    I don't drink the odd beverage or two. I drink every day practically. Usually a glass of red wine. My fave is a vodka gimlet - that's what I get when we go out to a decent bar.
    At crappy bars, I get a Jack and Ginger.

    Yes! I don't know how to attach it, but go to allrecipes.com and search "easy berry sangria." I made it recently in order to use up some Lambrusco & it was delicious! Very pretty too.

    My go-tos are: most any microbrew ale (no lagers please); wines that do not come out of a jug, box, or the bottom shelf of the grocery store; good whiskey; and dirty vodka martinis.

    To name a few faves:
    Beer: dark beer! (Guinness, boddingtons) and craft/seasonal beers (Abita satsuma, Covington strawberry)
    Liquor: Malibu/pineapple, gin and tonic, bloody Mary's, White Russians
    Wine: Cabernet, Pinot, Moscato

    I like to get my drank on! :P
