We were thinking of waiting until she was eight weeks, but the nightly fussing is starting to keep me up. And sometimes I wake her up when I get up to pump, so I'm thinking we might start her in her crib next week--week 6.
Probably around 6 months like we did with DD1. That used to be the AAP recommendation to reduce sids not sure if it still is. Plus DD2s room is far on the other side of the house and I don't to have to trek all the way over there for MOTN feedings and I don't want her crying to wake DD1 next door to her room.
I have put him in his crib for naps for the past few weeks while I am awake with a video monitor. I plan on having him sleep overnight in our room(RNP currently transitioning to PNP)until he's about 4 months.
I don't know yet. She will share a room with DS, so when she either is STTN, or only waking once consistently. She doesn't cry when she does wake up, so I probably could put her in there but I'm scared to mess up DS sleep. Argh.

This. I would put her in the crib but right now her brother is using it and I am trying not to buy a second crib. So we have her bassinet in the nursery
at 5 weeks, we moved her bassinet into her room...some days it's a good choice & some days I regret it! lasat night I had to keep going in there & soothing her...would have been so much eaiser to lean over from my bed.
I'm hoping to get her to start naps in her crib soon.
DS is 8 weeks and I am starting to introduce him to naps in his crib this week . He has slept through the night two nights in a row. So im thinking by the end of this week we will put him in there at night. Kind of playin it by ear.
I plan on moving DS into his crib when he starts sleeping through the night. It's much easier for MOTN feedings on mommy to just reach over to the bassinet and pull him up into the bed.
not sure; with DS1, we definitely had him in his own room, with a nice early bedtime, before 6 months, so i hope to do that again. but right now, we can't even get DS2 to sleep the whole night in his bassinet. :-/
We're starting this week (8weeks). It took several hours for DS to finally pass out but once he did, he slept for over 6 hours without a feeding. Wow! I'm sure that was a fluke. I can tell the crib mattress is more comfy than the bassinet, which he's already a bit too snug in. That's why we decided to move him. Well, that and his grunts are keeping me up - I'm way too hot on the trigger to comforting him. I think it's better to let him vocalize more before I wake him. Our monitor works fine - I can definitely hear him plus I can see him better through the monitor than when he was in our room bc of the night vision!

We'll probably transition once she starts STTN consistently. Last night (at 6 weeks) was the first time she ever STTN, but I'm in no hurry to transition. It's so much easier to have her in our room for MOTN feedings!

I think I moved Marshall by 4 weeks. We never got breastfeeding down so I kind of found it pointless to keep him in our bed room. He was making so much noise and would wake up DH who in turn would be a grumpy A-hole the whole next day. Plus, I would have to grab him, scurry through dogs and furniture in the dark to walk over to the nursery, feed him, get him almost back to sleep, and then go back into our room and put him down, THEN go back into the nursery and pump. It was ridiculous. Now he sleeps in the crib. I pump in the kitchen, and DH gets a full night's sleep...till I go back to work. Then he has to get up with the baby in the MOTN too.
Re: When Are You Moving Baby Into Crib? Or, When DID You...?
Moved him at 6 weeks...and he sleeps so much better in his own room. I think we were waking him up and he was waking us up.
My other 2 boys were in their own rooms from day 1.
