Hi everyone! This is my first pregnancy and I'm pretty clueless but glad there's a community of you all out there going through it with me. My DH and I had never TTC and I got pregnant the first month, so it all happened pretty fast and I was completely shocked. I have my first appointment on Oct. 16th- I'll be exactly 7 weeks. My OB said they will do an ultrasound. What should I expect? Do they normally hear a heartbeat by 7 weeks- and if they don't hear one, is that a problem?

The dr said he should hear heartbeat by oct 10th which will b bout 6.5 weeks
This is my first also and I'm super nervous
Good luck everybody
My dr didn't even try to listen to the heartbeat until 12 weeks last time. I had an U/S (it was not transvaginal) at 9 weeks and got to see the little bean though
