Spotting

First time prego over hear and at 6 weeks 5 days, it's pretty much been smooth sailing. Not really feeling sick, just hungry and creative with food, oh and let's not forget the peeing twenty times at night . But yesterday something kinda scary happened and I was spotting, went to the doctor and they just had me take a pee test which still read pregnant. How long after a miscarriage would those work?

First of all spotting doesn't mean you are having a miscarriage. Lots of women spot and go on to have a healthy pregnancy.

How long HCG stays in your system depends. It depends on how far along you are, and if you are able to lose everything yourself or not.

First of all, spotting can be completely normal. A lot is going on in there. And your cervix is very sensitive and tender right now. I was spotting off and on for about 1-2 weeks, and had my first u/s on Friday and everything looked great. Spotting does not = mc.

Second of all, its pregnant. Not prego, pregs, pregly. PREGNANT. Just say it how it is. No need for shortened "cutesy" words.

And OP, as other ladies have said, spotting can be normal.
