After irregular contractions all Sunday and regular ones all night, my doctor declared me 100% effaced and 4-5cm dilated at my 40wk appt. he sent me down the street to L&D where I'm waiting for the epidural.

Update! After 8 hours of contractions and 2 hours of pushing, my doctor concluded that LO's head was not going to make it past my pubic bone. Zachary David was born via C-Section at 9:48pm on 9-29-14, the same birthday as DH's grandpa and sister. He was 9lbs 3oz so the dr said even with more pushing, I still would have needed the CS.
We are now dealing with some low blood sugar issues so we're waiting to talk with the pediatrician about supplementing for a day or two until his level comes up. I'm also hoping to get cleared for real food, because I'm coming up on 25 hours since I ate. I'll post a photo later today once we have some lights on.
